Our first Halloween shindig in our new Sacramento location in 2025 rocked, and we gave away hundreds of copies of BBS authors’ books as well as mine and Francy’s. Word got around the neighborhood that we were handing out and even signing free books, and our driveway became packed with strange people all dressed up as if it were Halloween or something…..
Highlights of Black Bed Sheet Books’ 10th Anniversary Halloween Event 2018
This is a short video account covering the 10th anniversary Halloween event of one of the most successful independent horror book publishers in the world, Black Bed Sheet Books, on location at Black Bed Sheet Studios in Antelope, California, October 31, 2018. It incorporates some behind-the-scenes local media coverage (Good Day Sacramento with Cody Stark!) and presents the scope of the massive neighborhood impact of the event with over 600 trick-or-treaters and over 300 books given away, after a month of giving out candy every night throughout that October while promoting its business and authors in a most extraordinary way.
