While Ken Kupstis is a charming, hardworking Catholic boy, his alter-ego K.K. is the horrific combination of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, MOTORHEAD, Steel Reserve Malt Liquor, Playboy magazine and every horror movie ever made. His influences are JAMES HERBERT, Stephen King (who isn’t influenced by him?), Clive Barker, Skipp & Spector, David Schow, Joe R. Lansdale, Robert McCammon, Edgar Allan Poe, The Bible, Dungeons & Dragons, Blue Oyster Cult, Manowar, Dream Theatre, ETC.
